What is a simple sentence and example?
A simple sentence is one kind of sentence that contains one clause with a subject and Verb. It has one subject and predicate just like an assertive sentence which asserts a simple statement. For example, I am very happy here we can see that it has one subject (I) and predicate (am very happy) with a verb(am).

What is a complex sentence and example
A complex sentence is one kind of sentence that contains one main clause (independent clause) and at least one subordinate clause(dependent clause). We can add more subordinate clauses to make a complex sentence but it contains only one main clause. He says that he is going to school is an example of a complex sentence because it has one main clause (he says) with a subordinate clause (that he is going to school).

If you give me your chocolate then I will give you a teddy bear

What is a compound sentence and example
A compound sentence is one kind of sentence that contains two or more independent clauses joined by coordinating linkers such as or, and, but, etc.
“I search her room but I don’t find anything” In this example have two main clauses (I search her room and I don’t find anything) and they are joined by the linker ‘but’.
